FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
I submitted a site and noticed that the description was changed when the site listed?
All entries in AgLinks are listed subject to editor approval, and accurate descriptions and keywords will help your site get listed faster. Descriptions should be informative and accurate, avoiding promotional terms such as 'great', 'largest' or 'extensive'. Keywords should also be accurate and chosen wisely.
My site is listed and I don't like the description you have, can I change it?
You can change a link by clicking 'Modify Link' in the menu bar at the top of the screen from the category the link is in or the category you want to move it to. We reserve the right to edit all descriptions.
I'm submitting a site and can't find a suitable category for it?
If you are having trouble choosing a category, submit to the closest match you can find. All submissions are reviewed before inclusion and we will find the right category or create a new one for your link.
After I click a link the number of hits stays the same?
The AgLinks site is built as static web pages from a database that maintains the information. When a link receives a hit the counter is updated in the database instantaneously, but the pages containing the new hit numbers are only rebuilt every 15 minutes. The Top 100 and What's New pages are also rebuilt at the same time. The time of the last database build can be seen on the home page.
How are the links ordered in each category?
The links in each category are ranked in the following order:
If you would like your link to be displayed at the top of its respective category then please see our advertising page.
