G'day to all,

I would to hear other peoples experiences with biodiesel and the vechile injector pumps. I own a landcruiser 1hd-ft vechile. in the last 6 months I have repalced my pump 3 times. First time was to kilometre/general wear. the second time was warranty job and third, well that is to be seen. THe pump has only done 20000km. I use a 50-50 biodiesel mixture. This was only a fresh batch and the pump only done one 90 tank before she gave up the ghost. Has anyone had their biodiesel tested? I am thinking that maybe the acidity was to high and corrison occured to the head and rotor, but in a few days I well find out. Is there anyone out there who has had the same problems? What does the acid levels have to do with the bio anyway? Did I wash it to much? I use the menthanol, potassimum hydroxide and used cooking oil mixture. I need to find out as I am making a decision on downgrading my vechile and want to be sure I am doing the right decision.

:D

using a mix of 50/50 can cause a lot of gunk to lift off an old fuel tank and block a filter been running our toyota now for 3 years on bio and not a issue to date, only thing we have done is we have two tanks on the car one for bio and the other for normal desiel , we start on normal desiel and then switch over when the engine is warm to bio never had an issue at all except for filters blocking.

keep your ph level at around 8.5 -
