AUST Wheat sales - Nothing to report
The world bank has released its 10 year forecast for wheat prices : Based on their report the base price for wheat (US HRW grade) for 2005 is $140.00 USD a metric ton - this equates at the current exchange rate of 0.7926 the AUD price equates to the following
2005 $176.63
2006 $164.02
2007 $170.33
2008 $172.85
2009 $179.16
2010 $182.94
2011 $185.34
2012 $187.86
2013 $190.39
2014 $192.91
2015 $195.56
For every 10 point down ward movement ( 1 cent ) in the exchange rate this equates to approx $3.82 extra per metric ton. And of course if the exchange rate climbs - we get less -

South Korea purchased approximately 41,500 metric tons of Wheat. Shipment is slated for Apr 10-May 31
11.5 pct protein Hard Red Winter 9,300
14.0 pct protein Dark Northern Spring 14,300
10.5 pct protein Soft White 14,000
9.5 pct protein Soft White 2,800
8.5 pct protein Soft White 1,100
TOTAL: 41,500
Feed Grain:
Sale by private US exporters of 120,000 metric tons of
Yellow Corn for export distribution to Egypt.
Shipment is slated by August 31, 2005.
Oilseeds:
Taiwan purchased approximately 60,000 metric tons of Yellow Soybeans. Shipment is slated for Apr 13-27
