The Bureau of Meteorology has improved their weather radar images (sample radar image from Adelaide (http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR462.shtml)).
The main difference is the more natural colour scheme and the greater range of rainfall intensities able to be depicted.
Now all we need is some rain so I can see them in action :thumb.
