Ah another week over and done with......

This weeks high lights...

Grains:

Japan was active this week purchasing approximately 16000 metric tonnes of Canadian wheat and 11000 metric tons of wheat from Australia, been told that the order matches near on for a full consignment of wheat for the production of noodles, pity is that the exchange rate currently is not making us very competitive in the international market place.

Lamb:

Currently we are in a low demand period for supply into the northern
hemisphere mark place, and this year is no exception and with temperatures in the northern parts of the world are impacting the demand for lamb with many importers still in the holiday mode causing sale levels to be low compared to the yearly average. Some exporters are confident that pre-Christmas demand for chilled lamb will be strong. Interesting to note that lamb skin prices prices and are currently down approximately 20-23% compared to this time last year with demand light from China.
