Seams that the council of wool exporters are rather peeved at AWH ( jointly owned by Elders and Landmark ) - for setting up another sale centre in Melbourne with out consultation with the buyers organisations, this comes at a time when costs are being trimmed in the wool industry and yet another cost is about to be added in Victoria - via the arrogance of the main brokers, the grower will end up paying as usual.
If the buyers had any balls they would not bid on any wool within the AWH centre or force them to lower there charges at least, but being the wool industry they will most likely just bitch about it and then go along with it.
