Domestic Trade Steer
closed at an average of 335 cents cwt ranging in price from 318 to a high of 352.
Korean Steer
closed out weaker at 319 cents cwt ranging in price from 303 to a high of 335.
Japanese Ox
closed for the week on average at 316 cents cwt prices ranged from 300 to a high of 332.
Eastern states markets are looking for quality stock going into the sale yards but unfortunately because of the current dry conditions in the eastern states and a expected flood of stock on the market, we may see more down turn in the short term of prices being offered to producers we can only hope that the rains come in time as a lot of producers are holding stock in expectation of rains and feed is starting to get expensive.
