The Bureau of Meterology has announced that the last 3 months (March to May) have been the driest Autumn on record in Adelaide, since records began 167 years ago.
There were only 23 mm of rain recorded, compared with the average Autumn rainfall of 127.5 mm. It was also the second warmest Autumn on record.
As expected, Victoria also recorded a dry, warm Autumn. It was the driest Autumn since records began in 1900.
