Is anybody using Topcon equipment currently? I have a X20 console Full RTK in a steer ready T8050 Newholland and i hate it.
- The section control dosent work with my 36metre trailing hayes boom!
- I can't autosteer over about 18Km's and at 18 its within about 20cm's!
- My on board weatherstations is hopeless for wind speed and temp and humidity makes me wonder at times.
Aparently i bought the 'broadacre' 2cm version and not the 'rowcrop' 2cm version and thats why my steering is useless. And what ****ed me rite off is how the section control wasn't designed to run with a boom thats not all in a straight line. like most trailing hayes booms. I have emailed an A4 page of things that need to be fixed in the next software upgrades to topcon. but have received no reply.
Anyway, just wanted to voice my discust in what was meant to be one of the best up and comming products on the market. If anybody has other problems or answers to mine id like to hear about them.

I have an x15 and a x20 running on rtk with an aes 25 electric steering setup and 10 section autosection control and love it.I have only been up to 18km with a mx200 with a towbehind sprayer but at that speed it is 90% of the time 0 to 2 inches offline and i have not spent much time tuning it.I do wish they would do some work on the sprayer software so that it knows were a trailing boom is in a sharp turn compared to a selfpropeled boomspray, I have had that conversation with them but they didnt seem to see the problem Never heard of a 2cm broadacre and 2cm rowcrop versions

We are looking at purchasing Topcon, but when some of the big names selling the product don't back it, you have to worry. We have a 30m hayes with the back boom which is really stable at speeds. However, I have heard that the front mounted booms on the Hayes make it very unstable especially at speed so there would be a low expectation for accuracy of 2cm.
